The DRP focused on developing and testing a lean simulation game focusing on set based design. Set based design, as a lean tool, is widely adopted for improving design process of a facility and value maximization of client. Unlike the silo design process, the set based design propagates the idea of collaborative design process and selection of optimal design which screen through the lens of various value adding criteria. The uptake of this lean tool – Set based design hinges on imparting the knowledge and providing hands-on experience with this tool to the student and construction industry professional.
