This study is essential to find out what challenges are faced in the Indian context while implementing it and how it can prove beneficial to the Indian healthcare industry. This study was taken up in the form of action research. Interviews, literature review, and observations were done to identify the problems, and the lean tools of mistake-proofing, spaghetti diagram, BIM, and visual management were chosen accordingly for implementation. The feedback from the design firms showed these tools would prove beneficial in the current practice to minimise efforts and enhance the effective working of a hospital space.
