The research focuses on using Building Information Modelling (BIM) to improve construction safety by developing parametric Revit family models for construction equipment and site components. The study identified safety parameters for construction equipment operation on live sites, focusing on clearance zones and fall protection measures. The study found that BIM technology is gaining wider acceptance in the construction industry, and BIM implementation has the potential to improve construction safety. The study highlights the importance of 4D visualization technology and concludes that incorporating safety parametric families in the planning phase can ensure safe and efficient construction processes, reducing accidents and project delays.
