This research investigates how AI conversational agents can improve lean construction practices in construction management. It assesses chatbots' understanding of lean building principles. The study explores the possible implementation of AI chatbot in the steps of implementing Last Planner System at an Indian construction site. Results suggest possible use cases such as workflow management and project predictability by automating data analyses, etc. Challenges such as input constraints are acknowledged, with proposed solutions including structured frameworks and human-centered implementation. Future directions involve preparation of personalized AI chatbots for project specific use cases.
