This research project develops a digital tracking and planning solution for precast construction aligned with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles. It addresses key challenges such as lack of real-time visibility, manual tracking, and fragmented coordination by proposing an integrated framework combining Building Information Modelling (BIM), QR/NFC-based scanning, and a mobile application synced with Firebase. The solution enables real-time status updates from casting to installation, improving schedule control and communication. Validated through industry surveys and site visits, the system demonstrates how simple digital tools can enhance productivity, transparency, and efficiency in DFMA-based construction workflows across the project lifecycle.
