Resources are fundamental to the success of any construction project, directly impacting its cost, duration, and quality. Among all resources, labour is significant due to its direct influence on day-to-day construction activities. This study focuses on labour productivity in building construction projects and aims to identify and rank the key factors affecting it. Data was collected from professionals across Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, and factors were ranked using the Relative Importance Index (RII) method. Based on the analysis, critical productivity barriers were identified, and practical suggestions from industry practitioners were gathered to enhance labour efficiency on construction sites.
