Effective cost management is vital in construction projects due to the financial risks of deviations between estimated and actual costs. This study analyzes cost performance in two projects (Project XXXX and AAAA) using SAP-based actual, budgeted, and revenue data. Metrics such as cost-to-revenue ratios, budget variances, and rate trends of prime activities were used. Power BI dashboards visualized real-time trends by resource type and period. Key findings emphasize that cost-to-revenue ratios and activity rates reveal deeper financial and execution inefficiencies than raw values. The study recommends digital dashboards, rolling cost reviews, and monitoring high-cost heads to enhance forecasting and control.
