The construction industry globally is experiencing a digital revolution. The impact of digitization is also evident from the massive adoption of Common Data Environment practices. As a result, the communication among the project teams internally and with the external stakeholders has changed and improved significantly. It has addressed the majority of issues related to availability and access to much-needed information. However, getting the right information at the right time is to date one of the major concerns in construction projects. The role of the project coordinator exists to address the same concern. Yet, despite having sufficient resources and tools, the coordination is suffering due to multiple uncoordinated communication channels and information waste in place. With CDE in place, the coordination process requires a much-needed upgrade. The mode and methods of coordination are required to be modified and updated. This DRP is intending to capture: What it means to have an efficient project coordination system in the age where CDE is getting industry-wide acceptance.
