Pervious concrete is an innovative solution to the problems and issues arising due to increasing impervious stratum. This has led to a declination of infiltration of water into the ground leading to issues of water logging and flash floods. Pervious Concrete is a special type of concrete designed in such way to contain a porous structure thus allowing water from precipitation to pass through the pores and thus increase the water table thus resulting in reduction of storm water runoff. The compressive strength of the pervious concrete is hindered due to the porous structure which is essential for the permeability. The research aimed at modifying the mix design with silica fume and Styrene Butadiene Rubber aiming to improve the compressive strength of pervious concrete in proportions of 2%, 5%, and 10% and 5% and 10% respectively of cement in addition to cement. The studies were conducted at a fixed proportion of Aggregates and cement content and a constant w/c ratio.
