This research focuses on issue of maintenance and protection of traffic within active work zones in urban areas, with a primary focus on enhancing users' safety. Urban areas are characterized by densely populated regions with high traffic volumes, making the safety of road users a top priority during construction and maintenance activities. To achieve this goal, the study adopts the development of a traffic management plan, the identification of issues related to user safety, recommendations for identified issues, and the proposal of efficient detour plans to reduce travel time and minimize delays. Click here for detailed report.
