This study shows 3D modeling of geographic phenomena related to urban objects using. Hence, CityGML came into existence with common geometrical and semantic model which is largely accepted by the Open Geospatial Consortium (OCG) standards for 3D city models for the geospatial sector. The major objectives of the research were to examine the process and procedure for preparing a 3D Models for buildings, creating 3-D buildings with respect to different level of details and assess the accuracy of generated model.  The outcome of the research work is formulation of data acquisition framework with reference to LoD, adding local urban objects such as water tank, terrace cabin, stairs, and back washing area along with finding the solar and rainwater harvesting potential of the study area. 91% overall accuracy was achieved when the model was validated. Hence, with the initial outcomes that were achieved, the study can be further expanded to a larger scale to create a 3D model for an entire city including different typology of the buildings present with respect of Indian context .
