Through a detailed analysis of green buildings in Mumbai, the study aims to identify and review green building systems as well as compare different certifications available. This research paper employs primary research analysis to reveal awareness and preferences of various stakeholders involved in the adoption of green building. For data collection, a research approach was used, based on the identified four study objectives. The data obtained is analyzed in order to develop recommendations and adjustments that can be incorporated by the central, state and local government as well as other stakeholders to help increase and advance India's green building growth.
