The focus of this research is on analysing the dynamic nature of the real estate market of Surat, particularly the residential asset class. This is done by understanding the evolution of the city and its real estate and the housing scenario within the specific land and labour market of Surat. Additionally, this study includes the supply - demand analysis of housing scenario in identified micro - markets. The study is concluded by determining the potential of supply by city and comparing it with the future demand. At the end, issues regarding housing real estate are identified and recommendations are made.
