Ahmedabad is a fast developing city in India and a portion of the region of the city are getting impacted by heavy defilement of natural waste, solids and chemicals that are liable for the low quality of water. Human adjustment of the scene affects watershed hydrology. In the city, individuals endure with illnesses like Cholera, Typhoid fever, Leptospirosis and so forth that expresses the inferior quality water. The enhanced interest of water supply has frequently lead to water that is ill suited for human utilization, being coincidentally provided to the tap. This study is trying to assess and understand the water accessibility, adequacy and affordability at household level and role of water market in contributing to SDG 3 and SDG 6.
