It examines the adaptive, preventive and mitigative strategies employed by its inhabitants, predominantly from indigenous backgrounds, to withstand environmental challenges. A comprehensive analysis of local governance, cultural practices, and socio-economic dynamics, it elucidates the intricate interplay between community resilience and climate adaptation. Findings underscore the significance of indigenous knowledge, community cohesion, and external support mechanisms in fostering resilience amidst climate-induced vulnerabilities, offering valuable insights for sustainable development strategies in similar contexts.
