Rapid urbanisation led to focus on developing fast cities, with priority being given to creating easily manufacturable physical spaces and streets, which cater more towards moving traffic and parked vehicles than pedestrians while totally neglecting how these creations might affect the users and whether they cater to the requirements of the users.
This study focuses on understanding the relationship between the physical elements and long standing traditions and beliefs and how this relationship influences how we use and behave in our open spaces and streets on an everyday basis through a process of observation, mapping, and interviews.
