Suburban Housing Design I Parkside Community Housing

Suburban housing is typically seen as lower-density housing, with access to more private and public open spaces, with relatively lower land prices, and which is located away from the dense city centres. Therefore, the core concerns for suburban housing are not driven by higher densities but by the quality of the living environment and the design of housing units that are provided compared to other housing in the city. Through the studio, students will be required to develop housing units, cluster and site organization plans in considerable detail.
