The Lattice Pavilion

Nestled beside the ethereal Gira waterfalls in Gujarat’s Dang district, our semester's project presents an innovative bamboo pavilion, inspired by the dynamic wing movement of flying fish. This architectural marvel ingeniously melds bamboo's flexibility with steel's strength, thereby creating a fluid, organic structure. The design reflects the grace and agility of its aquatic muse and showcases the structural system in a celebratory fashion, allowing visitors to appreciate the intricate blend of materials. This pavilion stands as a testament to sustainable design, harmoniously integrating with its lush surroundings while highlighting the versatility and beauty of bamboo architecture.
