Waterscape in Flux

Bhuj’s waterscape reflects a history of adaptation and resilience. From the origin of the settlement, to the city of Bhuj that exists today, various factors have transformed the waterscape of Bhuj. Looking primarily at the site of Hamirsar Lake and the surrounding area, this study reconstructs the water landscape of the past and its various transformations through current evidence. It also investigates the catalysts for the transformations in the water landscape. Find extensive work here.
