ENCLAVE

Here is a children's science center project in the science city of Ahmedabad. In an attempt to bring the outside in, the project is a sewn-up mass that emerges from the biome and gallery connections. The result is a ring-shaped building surrounded by concrete walls that resemble ribbons, with the drum-like biomes breaking up the continuity. The building's experience is strengthened by bridges that pass through the biomes and central court, and dendriform columns receive special attention.
