Floating Parallels: Astronomy & Space Museum

Floating Parallels is an Astronomy and space museum located on a hexagonal site in Science City, Ahmedabad. The centre built is based on the concept of designing an astronomical space with a clear architectural visualization. The main idea is to have the space galleries floating in the air just to get the sense of the zero gravity, and it also gives a free ground. This is achieved through elevating the mass through the central column and tension rods. The use of a glass facade brings out the visual connection. Moreover, in accordance to climate, where the rocket is placed is a courtyard that will act as a stack vent.
