Efficient Design - Emergence - Vadodara bus terminus

The idea of the studio is to use a theoretical basis—Emergence—to propose a design intervention for a live urban project—City Bus Terminal proposed by Vadodara Municipal Corporation. After understanding the theory of Emergence, [where smaller entities interact to form complex behaviours, through a higher logic] the studio begins to map the Emergent urban complexity of the site, through 'movement mapping' and 'embodied android walk' techniques. The urban mapping and emergence vocabulary are tools to develop the designs. Fulfilment of their aspirations with efficiency is the higher logic of most people. Setting a logical concern for yourself, address it with optimum local relationships, all aiming towards to the higher logic, sometimes unconsciously. It is efficiency.
