The floating amalgamation of new and old

The barge is used as a museum -a museum in the Arabian sea which relates to the maritime history of Bombay; how cultures collided and defined the rich confluence of ideas. The reconstruction of the Louis Catherine engages this process. The city becomes a repository of memory when suspended in salty waters. The drydock dynamics is used for the professional trading of water sports and deep sea rescue trading for civilians and the navy. Since the dry dock is a leased facility it is also used to house events over the year constantly adapting to programs waiting to be given back to the city and beyond.
