Idea of Impermanence: 1)Assembling and disassembling the structure; 2)Growth of Bermuda grass Seeds in the differential growth pattern. Every year during the festival of Uttarayan, the International Kite Flying festival takes place near Sabarmati Riverfront, Ahmedabad. The concept here is to bring the essence of the old city back to this western side of the city. To do so, terraces of various sizes and level differences have been created for a more dynamic experience of the festival. The Structure is self supporting through the help of staircases running in different directions by the Terracotta modules.
