We started this design journey from a secret pit that developed into the childhood home then an institution for the community. The whole process was focused on the shifts in the way we inhabit a space. The site being my neighborhood and the residents of the house my own family, I could actually interact with these aspects of designing using the current context or through memory. These aspects of designing the house and institution respectively made it possible to look at architecture as not just a functional mold but a frame of possibilities, a juxtaposition of memory, associations, and architecture.
