The rational mind that built the riverfront never imagined how the plain and repetitive condition of the border, would be the perfect contrast with the verticality in the narrow streets in the city, the horizontal perception of the landscape in the river makes more evident the conditions of the other parts of the city, like the shade, light or crowd, openness and closeness.
