MaPaYah's Character Cove

Mapayah is a kid’s lifestyle online brand renowned for its hand-drawn block printing featuring unique characters. The challenge was to create a tangible experience in its first store in Palladium Mall, Mumbai and develop a brand manual to adapt the design to different retail formats in the future. The idea was to create an immersive and unforgettable shopping experience for customers and consumers, understanding consumer psychology, and shopping behaviour with visual merchandising strategy. The spatial design of the store is thoughtfully curated to showcase Mapayah’s unique characters highlighting their USP. The retail experience is enhanced by introducing interactive elements into the store to encourage kids and customers to engage with the products serving as a visual celebration of the brand's distinctive identity.
