The thesis “Enhancing Visitor Experience Through Interpretation and Presentation: World Heritage Property of Gujarat, Rani Ki Vav (The Queen’s Stepwell)” examines the connection between three subjects: the context and culture of the place, heritage tourism and, most importantly, heritage visitor experience. The study focuses to propose a framework for identifying and managing the visitor experience at the World Heritage Property. It studies the visitor behaviour and experience consumption; why, what and how visitors assimilate the heritage experience while interacting with the Outstanding Universal Value. By examining in this study, it is found that the heritage visitor experience is self-build and subjective. Visitors act as the key stakeholders in heritage tourism. This research is therefore carried out to deliver a focus on enhancing the visitor heritage experience.
