Kumartuli Street is conceived as an extension of the Kumartuli neighborhood, aimed at easing the pressure on urban infrastructure from the area's growing population. It addresses diverse community needs while preserving and reviving the neighborhood’s historical identity. The design emphasizes the adaptive reuse of underutilized or partially occupied buildings, transforming them with new functions to optimize their potential.
