Craft + Future = Reuse

Can craftpeople reinvent and innovate the meaning of resource? In a world where climatic changes and over consumption has led to natural resources coming to a point where they have reached the level of extinction, the demands of people for products made with natural resources has not reduced. In such a scenario people resort to the process of scavenging and scourging materials form architectural waste and therefore leading to optimal utilization of the waste procured. Therefore creating a huge requirement for skilled people. The craftsperson plays a pivotal role in carrying out the process of reusing the waste as they are the ones who have the skilled knowledge. Having the in-depth knowledge of the techniques and understanding of the crafts that have been a part of the society the craftsperson takes the lead. The craftspeople take up the architectural waste that is produced using it as a raw material and then modifying the same using the traditional techniques to create new products. This led to a factory space for modification where ones waste become a commodity of treasure for the other one.
