Raahvaas - The Crescent Pass

Raahvaas – The Crescent Pass is a thoughtfully designed highway rest stop located in Leh, inspired by the need to provide maximum solar gain throughout the day. The architectural concept takes shape as a crescent curve along the south-facing façade, optimizing sunlight penetration into every space. Catering to travelers of all age groups, the design emphasizes comfort, warmth, and seamless experience. A careful spatial arrangement allows for a smooth thermal transition from cold to warm to hot zones creating a gradual acclimatization to the harsh climate.
