Nestled Harmony : Experience the world of winged wonders

The project studies one of the most diverse yet lesser known Important Bird Areas (IBAs) located on the outskirts of Shivamogga city in Karnataka. The site is currently undermaintained mainly because of lack of footfall and awareness and faces threats such as contaminated water , grazing, tresspassing, predation of bird eggs by monkeys and domestic use of water from nearby hamlets. The intervention responds to the site conditions through 3 layers Evade, Enhance AND Experience. Evade describes the intervention in response to the threats,  Enhance demonstrates improvisation of bird habitats and the Experience crafts a unique journey for the visitors
