In Ephemeral Anchors, an Eternal Home

In a world driven by rapid change, this project reflects the quiet resistance of the Maldhari tribe preserving a way of life rooted in seasonal rhythms and ancestral knowledge. It proposes a shelter that breathes with the forests of Gir—crafted from local materials, rising and settling with the land. Designed to adapt, part of the structure travels with them during migration, offering continuity amid transience. This architecture does not seek permanence in form but in belonging—holding space for a tradition that sees home not as a fixed point, but as a living presence carried across soil, sky, and time.
