“Breathing life into the forgotten past, weaving tales of resilience and remembrance, crafting a sanctuary for poignant narratives and heartfelt reflection”
The project aims to transform an old heritage house located in the Jamalpur area of Ahmedabad into a dynamic interpretation center focused on the events and aftermath of the 1985 riots. This adaptive reuse initiative seeks to honor the historical significance of the site while providing a space for education, reflection, and community engagement.

The objective is to preserve cultural heritage, provide education and foster dialogue, while ensuring sustainability and community integration.
