This project explores the enduring legacy of Jaipur’s royal family through their architectural contributions, examining how palaces and forts served as active tools of power rather than mere byproducts of authority. Spanning ten centuries of rule, these structures reflect shifts in socio-political, economic, and military landscapes. By analyzing the evolution of these buildings across four time periods, the project investigates how the Jaipur royals leveraged architecture to assert dominance, adapt to changing circumstances, and sustain their legacy. The study highlights the dynamic interplay between architecture, authority, and ideology, positioning palaces as central to the construction and display of power.
