Elevating Kettuvallam into Floating Celebration Hub

The project endeavors to establish a distinctive and culturally immersive venture in Kerala, India, through the introduction of a 'Floating Celebration Hub.' Repurposing Kerala's traditional Kettuvallam boats, once utilitarian for rice and spice transport, the project transforms these into opulent accommodations for tourists exploring the backwaters. This innovative concept aims to transcend the conventional sightseeing experience by converting these houseboats into versatile event spaces for a range of celebrations like weddings, conferences, and parties, seamlessly blending Kerala's rich cultural heritage with the growing trend of destination events. To address the challenge of accommodating sizable groups within the confined space of a houseboat, the project proposes a modular approach. Modular boats can be affixed to a portable floating dock system, creating an adaptable and expansive venue.
