Rhythms of Mud & Music: A Retreat for Harmonious Living

Embarking on a rhythmic journey, the residence seamlessly weaves its narrative through rows of columns and subtle level differences, creating a symphony in architectural form. The design choreographs a dance between open and enclosed spaces, mimicking the fluidity of musical notes. Rows of columns act as the building's melody, supporting and defining various functional zones, while the gentle undulations in levels orchestrate a harmonious flow. Indoor spaces resonate with the family's daily rhythm, providing intimate settings for individual music practice. Simultaneously, expansive gathering spaces, both indoors and outdoors, echo the crescendo of shared musical experiences. The mud construction techniques employed not only ground the structure in nature but also compose a sustainable opus, marrying architectural innovation with a deep connection to the earth.
