The studio "Form Follows System" provided me with a comprehensive understanding of various systems, offering insights into their intricacies and nuances. It enabled me to articulate my ideas through systematic expressions such as stereotomy and tectonics, elevating my design approach. With an aspirational statement and a narrative focused on discovery, we established a stereotomic enclosure system of walls, complemented by a tectonic framework of steel forming the enclosure. This intervention not only opened the floor to the masses but also created an inviting space that encouraged curiosity and exploration. The upper tectonic grid enclosure housed formal curated discovery experiences, meticulously designed to reflect the aspirations and demands of the project. Each system retained its unique identity and purity, contributing to a cohesive project where systems dictated the narrative, and form followed suit. This holistic approach ensured that every element of the design harmonized seamlessly, resulting in an immersive and engaging experience for users.
