a living archive of ordinary histories//

This studio's primary exploration was centred around systems, spatial qualities and the form that arises consequentially, deconstructing tectonic and stereotomic forms of expression and assessing different scales and levels of detailing through this lens. Through the iterative framework built during the case study and time problem, the main design project- an archival centre, situated across Mandu's Jahaz Mahal complex was created and developed. What this archive aspires to be is a public memory project, breaking away from hierarchy, seeking to grow and expand endlessly like the memory it houses.
