Revival of Dada Hari Complex

Revival of Dada Hari Complex, through community active spaces:Dada Hari complex is in the quiet neighborhood of Asarwa village, towards northeast direction, in-between the coal yards and sleepy residential area near Asarwa Lake and Mata Bhavani Vav. The stepwell was built in 1485 by Dhai Harir, a household lady of Mahmud Begada, she was the superintendent of the royal harem. The whole complex is consist of Mosque,Tomb and Vav. The project intervention is based on the Architectural Conservation in urban area earlier this complex was the suburb area with landscape.Transformation which has the potential to Revitalize the landscape(Burra charter principle) and Adaptive reuse of old building as Interpretation Centre (invisible built form) to interpret whole history of Islamic architecture in Ahmedabad and history of complex, integrating with training programs and workshop for local communities.
