Rakhial is the face of textile industries of Ahmedabad. On several occasions from the 1980s, the streets of Rakhial have witnessed the riots along with the other parts of Ahmedabad. The violence of the clashes has resulted in the segregation of the neighborhood. Hence, can a spatial architectural intervention, be made in order to strengthen communal relations?
