Defense and Ceremonial Elements of Toraniya Naka

The studio focuses on Toraniya Naka , Darbargadh, Bhuj, which is a gateway of the citadel fortification. Within the defensive walls of the citadel, the three gates of the fortification play a crucial role, amongst which are the Murda Naka which is used to take dead bodies, the Toraniya Naka designated as the main entrance gateway, especially for auspicious events, and the Holi-chakla Naka that stands diagonally opposite to the latter are looked into as parts of the defence mechanism in accordance with the fort wall.
