 The project is based on the interpretation of the idea of fragmentation as a redefining or an alternate expression of the typical role of elements. The project in the Sarkhej campus, which is a Museum of Ahmedabad's history, attempts to flip the space and structural relationship in Sarkhej where the functional spaces are between column grids and the open spaces are transition spaces, whereas in the project, the space between the column grid is the transitional space and the clear spaces are the actual function spaces. This corresponds to prominent times in Ahmedabad's history and intermediary transition periods.
