To design a weekend getaway in kalay,vapi near the beach amidst the lush green trees. The project uses locally available 'fanas' wood as the building material.The building is orientated facing the beach on one site and a lily pond on the other.A courtyard was introduced as a buffer between the study and other areas.The areas of the house like the drawing room and the bedroom are oriented towards the beach to resonate the energy of the beach. the orientation of the building is along the axis of the beach and the pond. The form of the building is also linear to exaggerate the idea. I wanted the building to be still connected as a whole despite the isolation so the different levels of the study room and other spaces are connected by a double volume staircase space which visually connects all the floors
