This project addresses living conditions of migrant construction workers, with a focus on women’s experiences. Key issues such as lack of privacy, inadequate storage, unsafe child spaces, and shared toilets are tackled through sustainable, low-cost design using repurposed materials like shuttering panels and pallet wood. Emphasizing dignity, safety, and exclusivity, the proposal introduces private rest areas, childcare zones, and accessible toilets to improve daily life. Grounded in empathy and field research, the design offers human-centered solutions that foster community, empower women, and enhance overall well-being—transforming temporary housing into spaces of support and respect.
