The Micro Tale

In this urban scenario, there is no space for the children to feel connected with nature. Observation on natural entities are not acknowledged because of their growing situations and surrounding. As they are not given a space to be around a natural setting, they tend to ignore its importance. The design idea is to create an exploratory garden for children. Developing an existing natural resource amidst an urban condition, with smaller systems integrated within is the key idea. This acts as a natural playscape and a buffer from the dense urban masses. This exploration zone would connect them with nature. This creates an interconnection between the larger systems, smaller systems and man which in turn would create an awareness within them, to respect and love their surroundings. Children can explore the process, textures, colors and smell. Open spaces allow more physical activitity and helps socialize more.Key Words: Exploration, Living systems, Playscapes
