Located in a primarily Jewish community and surrounded by structures of historical importance, including the Dokwerker statue in the site and the Portuguese Synagogue. Respecting the built context, the existing vegetation and history; the entire proposal is submerged into the ground, and the functions are divided based on public usage, with the central library and exhibition building interacting with the statue and the main schooling area.
The geomorphic green roof is created to increase the community interaction with the school, and the form gives and impression of the school rising up from the ground - rising from the painful history towards a bright future
