ECHOES OF PLAY

"Children are born naturalists. They explore the world with all their senses, experiment in the environment, and communicate their discoveries." -Theodore Roszak. Despite diverse themes ecological parks, forest parks, and joggers' parks, children’s play areas in Ahmedabad remain uniform, relying on conventional swings, slides, and climbing frames. These elements, while functional, offer limited opportunities for exploration, imagination, and engagement with nature. This project explores how playspaces can be reimagined to nurture curiosity, adapt to seasonal changes, respond to urban pressures, and offer children dynamic, immersive experiences where every visit becomes an opportunity for discovery and growth.
