Held by the Landscape

In an era defined by urban overstimulation and emotional fatigue, neighborhood parks often fail to address the deeper psychological and emotional needs of individuals. The challenge lies in transforming these overlooked green patches into meaningful landscapes that offer more than recreation—spaces that become antidotes to personal stress. This project reimagines the park as a layered emotional journey that facilitates healing through spatial transitions, sensory immersion, and personal rituals. The design intent is to craft an environment where one can slowly detach from external noise, wander through curiosity, find pause in stillness, connect with others, and ultimately reconnect with oneself.
