How To Activate Underutilized Park?

The Project focuses on Revitalizing Underutilized parks into dynamic, participatory, and adaptive environments that foster social synergy and immersive public experiences.
Through documentation of parks across Ahmedabad, a recurring observation emerged — parks below 1 acre in size tend to remain underutilized despite often being designed. This raises critical questions about the effectiveness of design approaches for small-scale parks.
The project examines the extent to which strategies can effectively activate an underutilized park, creating an inclusive and meaningful public space. By experimenting with these interventions, the project aims to develop a framework for designing neighborhood parks under 1 acre.
